The FSM-40S supports multiple programmed splice modes for different fiber types and applications. Used-equipment documentation describes a typical splice cycle of approximately 15 seconds, selectable single- or dual-axis fiber viewing, multiple heater modes, attenuation modes, and a display designed for field visibility.
The integrated heater allows heat-shrink splice-protection sleeves to be processed directly on the machine after fusion.
