HORIBA Jobin Yvon Syncerity CCD Detection Camera
The HORIBA Jobin Yvon Syncerity is a scientific thermoelectrically cooled CCD detection camera designed for spectroscopic measurements and low-light optical detection. The Syncerity platform is intended for use with HORIBA spectrometers and spectrographs in applications including Raman spectroscopy, photoluminescence, fluorescence, UV-VIS/NIR spectroscopy, emission spectroscopy, and general optical research. This package includes the Syncerity detector, SDrive-500 shutter controller, power supply, HORIBA software/manual media, installation documentation, and the original factory CCD. HORIBA describes Syncerity as a family of deep-cooled scientific spectroscopy cameras covering UV, visible, near-IR, and VUV configurations.

Rent RequestThe HORIBA Jobin Yvon Syncerity CCD Detection Camera is a scientific-grade detector platform developed for spectroscopy and other low-light optical measurements. Unlike a conventional area camera intended primarily for photography or microscopy, Syncerity is optimized for coupling to a spectrograph, where dispersed wavelengths are projected onto the CCD and recorded simultaneously.
HORIBA describes the Syncerity family as spectroscopic multi-channel detectors for UV through near-IR measurements. Depending on the installed sensor configuration, Syncerity systems were available with deep thermoelectric cooling to approximately −50°C or −60°C, helping reduce dark current and improve sensitivity for weak optical signals. Horiba
The camera communicates with the control computer over USB 2.0. HORIBA's operation manual documents software-controlled acquisition, detector cooling, binning, regions of interest, gain selection, readout rate, external triggering, and TTL outputs. The detector's temperature indicator changes from cooling status to ready status once the programmed operating temperature is reached. Horiba
The Syncerity family was offered in multiple scientific CCD configurations, including 2048 × 70 back-illuminated UV-VIS, 1024 × 256 front-illuminated UV-VIS, 2048 × 70 back-illuminated NIR, and VUV versions.
This package also includes a HORIBA SDrive-500 shutter control unit, which is used to operate the mechanical shutter associated with compatible HORIBA spectroscopy systems.
